Ginger Cookies

Gingersnaps

Ingredients:
3/4 cup shortening (or 1/2 cup shortening and 1/4 cup butter)
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 molasses
2 cups flour

1 Tb ginger
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt


1. Mix wet ingredients first.
2. Then mix in dry ingredients.
3. Form into small balls and roll in sugar.
4. Bake 10-12 minutes at 400 degrees.
